Finally departed about 2:35 pm from the @kayakpittsburgh launch. paddled across the Allegheny, down to the 279 bridge, across again, then down to the new casino, back up the river and crossed to the south side across from Heinz field (quickly crossing before boat traffic picked up) and then back to the north short just beyond the Pgh Police boathouse.

running even later. guess that gives more Pen's fans time to leave the rally and come over to KayakPittsburgh! :-) maybe 1:45 pm.... Later this evening, going to REI Coop to look for kayaking gear...
