Pickupalooza

This group is for the people that built pickupalooza. We are trying our best to be active this summer and get Pittsburgh active along with us. We are also looking for sponsors. Any bars, fitness clubs, or healthy product companies that want to help sponsor pickupalooza events please contact heather@deeplocal.com.

A group for people interested in creating, re-creating, refining, and playing new and strange sports.

We meet at a different restaurant in the city area each week and run 3, 4, and 6 mile courses prepared by the group leader. All paces and distances welcome! Many of us stay afterwards to eat and drink. We meet Thursday evenings at 6:15 and run at 6:30.

The Steel City Volleyball League (SCVL) offers a fun and friendly atmosphere for recreational and competitive volleyball among Pittsburgh's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. Allies welcome!

Sundays at 1:30 (recreational/novice), Tuesdays at 6:30 (competitive), weather permitting. Summer play is free of charge, as there are no organized teams or referee responsibilities. Come as you are, enjoy the game, and learn more about the league!

We play Street hockey every weekend. We have sticks, bring whatever pads you want - most only wear gloves and shinpads or less. We have a great time!
